Pumpkin Bread



1 stick butter


1 C. sugar

2 eggs


1 1/4 C flour


1/2 t. baking powder


1/2 t. cloves


1/8 t. salt


1 t. vanilla


1/4 t. baking soda


1 t. cinnamon


2/3 C. plus 2 T. canned pumpkin


(optional 2/3 C. pecans)




Mix well and bake at 350* for about 1 hour


makes one large loaf.
