Tandoori Chicken




Tandoori Chicken


Ingredients:

1 cup nonfat plain yogurt

½ cup minced onion

1 ½ Tbsp lemon juice

1 Tbsp garlic

1 ½ Tsp Paprika

1 Tsp each: Cilantro

Salt

½ Tsp. each: ground cumin

ginger

turmeric

¼ Tsp each: cinnamon

pepper

1/8 Tsp. ground cloves

4 (1lb) Bone-in skinless chicken thighs

1 lg onion

Combine all ingredients until chicken – mix well – add chicken

Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour

Remove chicken from marinade

Cook chicken with one thinly sliced onion on a broiler pan in oven until chicken is done and onions are browned – about 25 minutes.

  1. Mmmmmmm, I love me some Indian food! I've never tried to prepare any at home in my kitchen, though. Yum!
