Envy my Kitchen

Hey everyone, my name is Melissa, come on in and take a seat in my kitchen...while it is still mine that is. This is what we have called home for the past 4 years but that will end on Dec. 2nd since we have sold this home and are getting the next one started. My vision for this kitchen was warmth, I wanted an environment that was welcoming during our long winter months. Keeping the natural light and shortness of the days in mind I picked a color for the cabinets that is quiet dark (Pratt & Lambert Lambswool), with that I used an Antique Brown granite, a 4x4 tumbled slate back-splash, and oil-rubbed bronze lighting and hardware.
I am one lucky girl, my husband owns a custom building company, so I get to dive into Interior Design on a daily basis, from the cabinet design (yep, I do it all myself), to helping clients with material & color selections I am constantly looking for creative and new ideas. I am excited to share with all of you our next kitchen, it will be the exact opposite of this one...but that won't be till May, and that can not come soon enough! Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for having me. :)

come hop on over to my site
