Beef Stew

Beef Stew

2lbs beef
5 medium potatoes
5-6 medium carrots
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of celery
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 bay leaves

Layer in pot:
beef
peeled and chopped potatoes and carrots
sprinkle onion soup mix over all of this
mix soups, tomato sauce and water in bowl and pour over vegi mixture
add bay leaves
cook at 225 degrees for 7-8 hours
Serve with yummy bread

*This is the original recipe but i actually make mine in the crock pot. I layer it all the same and then cook it on high for about 2 hours and then switch it to low for 4 more hours. And i use a spatuala and carefully stir it a little bit and scrape the sides when i change it from high to low. You could do it on low all day for 8 hours.
