White BBQ Sauce

Hi, I'm Amanda, and I blog on Tuesdays @ The Paisley Cupcake!

I just love grilling in the summer! Over the weekend {the 4th} I got to play hostess to a LARGE crowd of family. My husband, John got to show off his master grilling abilities and I...well, I chopped the veggies and directed people to the bathroom.

ANYWAYS, I am still recovering from the long weekend and decided to post something that was still on the brain...

BBQ.

One of my favorite BBQ/grilling recipes is White BBQ Sauce. Its such a delicious condiment that can be used to on chicken, home fries or used to replace mayo on your hamburger or hot dog.

Its a must try! I will admit I was a little apprehensive at first. {I'm not a huge fan of Horseradish} But it sooo works, so here it is....

WHITE BARBECUE SAUCE

1c. Mayo

2-4 TBS. Cider Vinegar

2 TBS. Horseradish

1 TSP. Coarse salt

1/2 TSP. Black pepper

1/4 Tsp. Cayenne pepper

Combine all and mix. You can alter to your likings. I usually add a little more Cayenne pepper and a few dashes of hot sauce. {We like it spicy!}

Enjoy!

  1. Nice! Barbecue sauce runs out quickly thanks to my hubby's liking for it. I didn't know it was so easy to make this sauce! I don't know where I can find horseradish though. I bet my local Hy-vee has it :)
    Thanks for the helpful recipe!
